SMALL-CAP WINNERS & LOSERS: Eurocell rises as swings to profit

(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Friday.

SMALL-CAP - WINNERS

Eurocell PLC, up 5.1% at 280.60 pence, 12-month range 171.00p-290.00p. The PVC window, door and roofline products manufacturer posts strong first half results and reinstates dividend payments. For six months to June 30, revenue was GBP168.1 million, up 80% from GBP93.6 million last year and swings to pretax profit of GBP14.2 million, from GBP16.5 million loss. Eurocell declares an interim dividend of 3.2p per share, having paid nothing at the same time last year.

Gulf Keystone Petroleum Ltd, up 4.4% at 184.12 pence, 12-month range 67.00p-202.50p. The oil and gas company confirms it received a net payment of USD29.5 million from Kurdistan government.

Taylor Maritime Investments Ltd, up 1.5% at 97.50p, 12-month range 0.71p-97.50p. The specialist dry bulk-shipping investment company says it secured two-and three-year charters on three new vessels. Says these will deliver average annualized unlevered gross cash yields of more than 20%.

SMALL-CAP - LOSERS

Argo Blockchain PLC, down 2.6% at 136.92p, 12-month range 4.31p-339.81p. The cryptocurrency miner mines 206 bitcoin or equivalent in August, down from 225 in July. Posts August mining revenue GBP6.8 million, up from GBP5.6 million in July.
