SMALL-CAP WINNERS & LOSERS: EnQuest, Tullow rise on Jefferies upgrades

(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Friday.

SMALL-CAP - WINNERS

EnQuest PLC, up 5.2% at 24.45 pence, 12-month range 8.67p-26.95p. Stock gains after Jefferies lifts the oil and gas company to Buy from Hold. Tullow Oil also advances, shares up 4.3%, after being raised to Buy at Jefferies.

BMO Real Estate Investments Ltd, up 2.1% at 76.54p, 12-month range 51.5p-81.5p. The commercial property investor reports net asset value total return of 9.1% for year, outperforming MSCI Quarterly Property Universe index which gains 6.5%. "Despite the cautious sentiment at the start of the period linked to the pandemic and the associated lockdowns, the market showed some signs of steadying throughout the latter part of 2020, and a return to greater optimism as the financial year came to a close," it says.

SMALL-CAP - LOSERS

Hyve Group PLC, down 1.9% at 109.8p, 12-month range 47.45p-158.2p. Pulls back after rising 1.3% on Thursday after reporting fourth quarter was "very positive step on the road to recovery." For financial year that ended September 30, events firm Hyve expects revenue of around GBP55 million, substantially below GBP105.1 million posted in the previous year.
