(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Wednesday.

SMALL-CAP - WINNERS

EnQuest, up 7.1% at 16.37 pence, 12-month range 7.07p-27.04p. Tullow Oil, up 1.4% at 34.60p, 12-month range 7.17p-44.3p. The oil and gas firms were tracking spot oil prices higher, quoted at USD63.75 a barrel Wednesday morning, up sharply from USD62.98 late Tuesday. Oil prices sit around 13-month highs, with added support coming from a big freeze in Texas that has restricted output in the key US production state.

Costain Group, up 3.0% at 60.77p, 12-month range 29.18p-199.06p. The infrastructure construction contractor says it has entered into a settlement agreement with the Welsh government in relation to the A465 contract to widen an 8 kilometre section of road from Gilwern to Brynmawr in 2015. Costain notes the financial terms of the settlement were in line with the GBP45 million provision made in its half-year results.

DWF Group, up 2.5% at 83p, 12-month range 45p-142.40p. Cartesian Capital Group builds 5.5% stake in the legal business.

Chrysalis Investments, down 4.3% at 215.24p, 12-month range 67p-228p. Investment company is seeking shareholder authority to issue up to 600 million shares as part of a placing programme.
