(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Thursday.

SMALL-CAP - WINNERS

STV Group PLC, up 1.3% at 342.00 pence, 12-month range 236.00p-371.07p. STV Group's revenue in the six months to June 30 rises 35% to GBP60.3 million from GBP44.7 million. The broadcaster swings to a pretax profit of GBP8.5 million from a GBP4.9 million loss. It raises its payout by 23% to 3.7p from 3.0p. It also announces a deal to acquire Hello Mary, an unscripted production company. STV Group owns the STV television channel, which operates two licences in the ITV television network in the UK. London-listed ITV PLC operates the remaining licences.

Schroder Asian Total Return Investment Co PLC, down 1.6% at 504.00p, 12-month range 402.00p-551.00p. Among Schroder Asian's assets are Chinese gaming and technology stocks, which all closed lower in Hong Kong after being caught in Beijing's regulatory cross-hairs. Chinese authorities have ordered gaming giants to end their focus on profits and cut content perceived to be breeding "effeminacy", as Beijing tries to direct youth culture, gender ideals and the reach of big tech. Tencent Holdings Ltd fell 8.5%.

Blackrock Greater Europe Investment Trust PLC, down 1.2% at 693.41p, 12-month range 431.00p-708.00p. Shares in the investment firm's five largest holdings, as at July 31, are all lower. Semiconductor firm ASML Holding NV is down 0.4% in Amsterdam and luxury goods firm Kering SA is down 1.6% in Paris. Meanwhile, chemicals firms Lonza Group AG and Sika AG are both down 0.5% in Zurich, while Danish transport and logistics company DSV Panalpina AS is 0.2% lower in Copenhagen. As a percentage of net assets, ASML makes up 7.6% of Blackrock Greater Europe's portfolio, Kering 1.6%, Lonza 5.7%, Sika 5.4% and DSV 4.8%.
