Camellia PLC, up 6.1% at 7,000.00 pence, 12-month range 6,200.00p-7,725.00p. The agricultural production firm says profit will beat expectations as a result of improved margins for a number of its agriculture businesses, alongside cost-saving measures. For 2021, it expects underlying pretax profit to be substantially above market forecasts in the range of GBP7 million to GBP9 million. It posted underlying pretax profit of GBP16.0 million in 2020. However, it said 2021 revenue is likely to be 4% to 5% below market expectations.

Caracal Gold PLC, up 4.8% at 1.13p, 12-month range 0.85p-1.90p. The gold producer says reverse circulation and diamond drilling programmes on the mining and prospecting licenses at its flagship Kilimapesa gold mine in Kenya are now underway with resource and exploration drilling advancing. First assay results from the drilling programme are expected in late first quarter 2022.
----------
Metro Bank PLC, up 1.5% at 89.30p, 12-month range 82.75p-163.00p. Shares are higher even after the challenger bank is fined GBP5.4 million by the UK Prudential Regulation Authority over failings in its financial reporting between 2016 and 2019. "Metro Bank has cooperated fully with the PRA's investigation and agreed the resolution of this matter with the PRA," it says.
