LONDON (Alliance News) - Sirius Petroleum PLC on Monday said it has appointed Simon Hawkins as a non-executive director with immediate effect.
Hawkins is the former global head of investor relations at Afren PLC, the former FTSE 250 oil and gas company which collapsed into administration earlier this year.
He also worked for Royal Dutch Shell PLC in the past and prior to this for Swiss bank UBS AG as an equities analyst.
Hawkins also has been appointed company secretary.
Shares in Sirius were up 14% to 0.37 pence on Monday.
