LONDON (Alliance News) - Sirius Minerals PLC on Friday provided a further update on the approval process for its York Potash Project application, with one of its submissions approved in Scarborough and the decision on another by North Yorkshire County Council deferred.
Sirius said the application made to Scarborough Borough Council for temporary construction accommodation and a park-and-ride facility was submitted in February and has now been approved.
Elsewhere, an application made to North Yorkshire County Council was submitted in January to the North York Moors National Park Authority to extend the existing Whitby park-and-ride facility. Planning committee members decided to defer their decision on the application until a determination has been made on the main project.
Shares in Sirius were down 0.4% to 14.2 pence on Friday.
