Sirius Minerals Harbour Facilities Application Accepted By Authorities

22nd Apr 2015 08:02

LONDON (Alliance News) - Sirius Minerals PLC Wednesday said the Planning Inspectorate in Teeside, England, has accepted the company's application for harbour facilities at the York Potash project which should lead to a development decision being made in the middle of 2016.

The company's application for the York Potash project's harbour facilities will now be examined before the Planning Inspectorate awards a development consent order, which is expected to be finalised in the middle of 2016, if approved.

In January, the company withdrew its application for the harbour facilities at the project to refine certain details before re-submitting it. The company said the re-application did not affect the overall timeline for other key planning decisions on the project.

Sirius shares fell 2.3% to 13.19 pence per share on Wednesday morning.
