LONDON (Alliance News) - Sirius Minerals PLC on Tuesday said it has been informed that the final decision on the York Potash project from the North York Moors National Park Authority is expected to emerge this week.
Sirius said it understands the final decision notice will be circulated for signatures this week and should be issued shortly thereafter.
The company has been working towards securing all necessary approvals to start work on the York Potash project, the first new potash mine in the UK for 40 years. The authority has already given its approval for the project to go ahead, and Sirius is now just awaiting the publication of the final decision notice.
Shares in Sirius were up 1.4% to 18.50 pence on Tuesday.
