(Alliance News) - Simulation development company SimiGon Ltd said Monday it has been awarded an USD1.8 million contract to design, develop and implement a C-130 virtual maintenance training solution for the Israeli Air Force technician training academy.
The Lockheed C-130 Hercules is a turbo-prop military transport plane.
The contract's period - excluding 12 months warranty and support - is for about 18 months.
The expected revenue contribution from the deal already has been factored into management's expectations for 2019 and contributes to improved revenue visibility for 2020 and beyond, SimiGon said.
Ami Vizer, chair & chief executive officer, said: "This contract is a great achievement for the company, and we are proud to continue to play a major role in the IAF's ongoing maintenance training program."
Shares in SimiGon - which has offices in both the US and Israel - were up 4.5% at 8.10 pence on Monday in London.
