LONDON (Alliance News) - SimiGon Ltd on Thursday said it has signed a blanket purchase agreement with the US Department of Defence Enterprise Software Initiative.
SimiGon shares were up 58% in the morning trade at 15.00 pence each.
The simulation training solutions provider said it agreed pricing and processes with the US defence department for government customers to purchase SimiGon's products and services.
Enterprise Software Initiative is an official initiative sponsored by the US Department of Defence chief information officer to both establish and manage enterprise commercial off-the-shelf IT agreements, assets, and policies.
The initiative provides an effective method for approved software publishers, hardware vendors and service providers to streamline sales to the US Department of Defence customers. The total potential sales amount for all selected vendors under this deal is USD238.6 million over a period of 10 years, starting form April, SimiGon said.
"The blanket purchase agreement is another validation of SimiGon's technology, software products and business model as a viable solution for Federal agencies seeking advanced training and simulation solutions for multiple domains," said SimiGon President & Chief Executive Ami Vizer.
