(Alliance News) - SimiGon Ltd on Thursday said it has been awarded a blanket purchase agreement from the US Air Force for the supply of virtual reality and mixed reality systems.
The training solutions provider said the deal has a contract ceiling of USD6 million over a two-year period. This allows the US government to rapidly order virtual reality and mixed reality solutions.
SimiGon was one of four contractors awarded, it noted.
"This contract mechanism simplifies the ordering process for US Air Force when ordering SimiGon virtual reality and mixed reality systems," said SimiGon Chief Executive & Executive Chair Ami Vizer.
"We look forward to many additional virtual reality and mixed reality systems deliveries in support of the US Air Force's ongoing innovation efforts," Vizer added.
SimiGon shares were trading 14% higher in London on Thursday at 9.00 pence each.
