SimiGon Secures Up Five-Year Contract Extension From US Air Force

5th May 2015 06:46

LONDON (Alliance News) - SimiGon Inc on Tuesday said it has won a five-year contractor logistics support deal with the US Air Force Air Education Training Command worth USD1.66 million over the term of the contract.

Under the deal, SimiGon, which provides modelling, simulation and training services, will support and maintain the US Air Force's T-6A training simulators used in training all remote piloted aircraft pilots.

The revenue contribution of the contract had already been factored into the company's 2015 expectations, it said, but also provides greater revenue visibility for 2016.

The deal is an extension of an existing contract with the US Air Force, signed in 2011, under which SimiGon worked as the prime contractor and delivered its SIMBox product for T-6A-based training systems.
