LONDON (Alliance News) - Silence Therapeutics PLC on Tuesday said Chief Executive Officer Ali Mortavazi has resumed his day-to-day duties at the company following a period of compassionate leave.
Alastair Riddell, who stepped in as executive chairman in Mortavazi's absence, has now retired from his position and from the company's board.
Riddell has been replaced by Stephen Parker, who becomes non-executive chairman of the company. He has been a non-executive director of the company since November 2013.
Shares in Silence Therapeutics were down 1.5% to 256.00 pence on Tuesday.
