LONDON (Alliance News) - Silence Therapeutics PLC Thursday said Chief Executive Ali Mortazavi will be taking two months of compassionate leave, leaving Chairman Alastair Riddell at the helm.
Riddell will be the company's interim chief executive whilst Mortazavi is on leave. He is taking the leave "due to an acute illness in his family", said the company.
Silence shares were down 0.9% to 280.00 pence per share on Thursday morning.
