LONDON (Alliance News) - SIG PLC said Tuesday Non-Executive Director Cyrille Ragoucy will resign from the building materials company after being appointed permanent boss of floorcovering firm Balta Group NV.
Ragoucy has been serving as interim CEO at Balta since late August. On Tuesday, however, he was appointed as permanent boss with immediate effect.
Consequently, Ragoucy will leave SIG once a replacement non-executive had been appointed. It is not expected that a new non-executive would have been picked before the annual general meeting on May 8.
"On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Cyrille for his contribution to SIG and wish him every success in his role as CEO of Balta," SIG Chair Andrew Allner said.
Shares in SIG were 0.3% higher at 141.90 pence on Tuesday.
