LONDON (Alliance News) - SIG PLC said Monday it hired Kate Allum and Gillian Kent as non-executive directors of the building materials firm from the start of July.
SIG Chair Andrew Allner said he was "delighted to welcome" Allum and Kent to SIG.
"They each bring a range of skills and experience which will add great value to our board and significantly benefit the company as it continues to deliver its transformation plan and its long term vision and strategy for the future," Allner added. "I look forward to working with both."
With the appointment of the pair, SIG confirmed Non-Executive Director Cyrille Ragoucy will leave the firm at the end of June. Ragoucy had announced in early April he would step down once a replacement had been appointed.
Allner also thanked Ragoucy for "his contribution to SIG and wish him every success in his role as CEO of Balta Group NV."
Shares in SIG were 0.5% higher at 133.70 pence on Monday.
