(Alliance News) - SIG PLC on Wednesday appointed Kath Durrant as non-executive director effective from January 1, 2021, replacing Kate Allum who will step down from December 31.
Durrant is currently non-executive director at energy company Calisen PLC and engineered ceramics company Vesuvius PLC, and previously served as non-executive director of engineering company Renishaw PLC from 2015 to 2018.
As well as being a member of the executive teams at drug maunfacturers GlaxoSmithKline PLC and AstraZeneca PLC, she served as the group human resources director at aerospace company Rolls-Royce PLC and plumbing and heating products distributor Ferguson PLC.
Chair Andrew Allner said: "Kath also has extensive experience of working in businesses undergoing transformation, which will be invaluable as we seek to restructure our UK operations."
Shares in SIG were up 2.9% at 32.52 pence in London on Wednesday.
