LONDON (Alliance News) - Sierra Rutile Ltd Monday said operations had been unaffected by a disturbance at its Sierra Leone Mine, when employees of its security contractor, Security Support Group International, staged an unplanned walk-out.
"This walk-out precipitated some disturbance involving these employees joined by some members of the local community. The disturbance lasted less than 24 hours, during which time Sierra Rutile's operations were unaffected," the company said in a statement.
Sierra Rutile shares were flat at 63.50 pence Monday morning.
