LONDON (Alliance News) - Sierra Rutile Ltd on Monday said it has appointed Matthew Hird as its chief financial officer, effective from September 2015.
He will replace Yves Illunga, who will remain with the company to ensure a smooth transition period for Hird.
Hird worked for Kazakhmys PLC, now Kaz Minerals PLC, in the past, including six years as chief financial officer. He has also held senior roles with Vedanta Resources PLC and African Minerals Ltd.
Shares in Sierra Rutile were untraded on Monday morning, having last traded at 28.20 pence.
