Shire Chairman Kilsby Joins Diageo As Non-Executive Director

LONDON (Alliance News) - Drinks company Diageo PLC announced on Wednesday the appointment of Shire PLC Chairman Susan Kilsby as a non-executive.

Kilsby, who has been chairman of Irish pharmaceutical firm Shire since 2014, is also a non-executive director of Goldman Sachs International and London-listed BBA Aviation PLC.

Prior to this she worked for Credit Suisse, Barclays PLC, Bankers Trust, and First Boston Corp.

Chairman Javier Ferran said: "I am delighted to welcome Susan to the Diageo board. Her expertise and experience in finance and M&A will serve Diageo well as we work towards our ambition to become one of the most trusted and respected consumer products companies in the world."

Diageo shares were up 0.8% on Wednesday at a price of 2,403.50 pence each.
