LONDON (Alliance News) - Nighthawk Energy PLC on Thursday said it has received a requisition notice from shareholders to remove both its executive chairman and chief operating officer.
The meeting has been called by Fastighets AB Kopralen and Johan Claesson, who combined hold 16% of Nighthawk shares.
They are seeking to remove Executive Chairman Rick McCullough and COO Chuck Wilson and appoint Claesson and Johan Damne as non-executive directors.
On Tuesday last week, Nighthawk filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware to preserve its ability to pursue asset sales and restructuring of the business.
Its two main assets are the Smoky Hill and Jolly Ranch projects on the Denver-Julesberg basin in Colorado.
Nighthawk shares are currently suspended from trading in London.
