LONDON (Alliance News) - Shanta Gold Ltd Wednesday said Chief Financial Officer Patrick Shayawabaya has resigned and will leave the company at the end of October to pursue an opportunity in his home country of Zimbabwe.
Shanta has begun searching for a replacement but has appointed Eric Zurrin as interim chief financial officer. The appointment marks Zurrin's return to the company after holding an advisory role to the miner's former chief executive back in 2013.
Shanta shares were up 3.8% to 5.71 pence per share on Wednesday morning.
