(Alliance News) - Structural steel firm Severfield PLC said on Friday that it has named Louise Hardy as a non-executive director, effective September 4.
Hardy, an experienced non-executive director, also has roles at housebuilder Crest Nicholson Holdings, fertliser and mine developer company Sirius Minerals PLC and plastic piping firm Polypipe Group PLC.
She will serve in Severfield's remuneration, nomination and audit committees.
Non-Executive Chair John Dodds said: "We are pleased to welcome Hardy to the board of Severfield. She brings with her a wealth of relevant experience in the delivery of complex infrastructure projects and experience as a non-executive director of other publicly listed companies.
"Her work in the UK construction sector and major project development will be highly beneficial to Severfield as we continue to build on the considerable positive momentum within the business."
Shares in Severfield were untraded in London on Friday morning, last quoted at 63.18 pence each.
