Servoca To Pay Maiden Dividend After "Record" Year

8th Dec 2015 08:14

LONDON (Alliance News) - Servoca PLC on Tuesday said it had a "record" financial year and declared a maiden dividend payment to shareholders, as pretax profit jumped thanks to its education and healthcare recruitment businesses.

The recruitment and outsourcing company said pretax profit rose to GBP2.8 million in the year ended September 30, from GBP1.6 million the prior year, as revenue swelled to GBP58.8 million from GBP49.0 million.

Servoca will pay a maiden dividend of 0.3 pence per share.

"We have delivered outstanding results and I am particularly pleased to be able to announce our maiden dividend. Our education and healthcare recruitment businesses have enjoyed a great year and the group is well placed to deliver further growth, both organically and by selective bolt on acquisitions," Chief Executive Andy Church said in a statement.
