LONDON (Alliance News) - Digital video security systems provider SerVision PLC on Thursday said it has secured a new order from Israeli transport company Egged Israel Transport Cooperative Society Ltd and said it has made progress on its contract secured in Kazakhstan.
Servision said the deal with Egged Israel will see it provide 75 MVG400 units for Egged buses operating in Israel. The company said the order is worth USD108,000 and said the units have already been installed.
In addition, Egged Israel has said it plans to deploy SerVision technology across its entire 3,920-strong Israeli bus fleet and its 1,700 buses owned by associated companies in the Netherlands and Poland by the end of 2015. SerVision has begun work towards signing further purchase orders from the units.
Elsewhere, the company said that the 360 MVG400 units and cameras ordered by Crosstone Trading Ltd and A&A Traffic Technologies Ltd for deployment on buses in Astana, Kazakhstan, have now been delivered.
Servision has now received the majority of the USD415,000 it is owed on the order, with the remaining USD12,500 from A&A due to be received within 75 days of the shipment, which took place on April 22.
Shares in SerVision were up 0.2% to 4.76 pence on Thursday.
