ServicePower Technologies To Move To Positive Earnings In Second Half

30th Sep 2015 10:52

LONDON (Alliance News) - ServicePower Technologies PLC Wednesday said it expects to return to a positive earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation position in its second half, as it reported a narrowed pretax loss for the first half of 2015.

ServicePower proves mobile workforce management software products.

For the half year to end-June the company reported a pretax loss of GBP616,000, narrowed from a pretax loss of GBP930,000 a year before, as revenue rose to GBP6.9 million from GBP6.2 million.

The company signed 11 deals in the first half of 2015 with new and existing customers, and said it has a strong pipeline in place for the second half and 2016. Revenue growth came predominantly from its ServiceOperations segment, where revenue was up 33%, whilst its ServiceScheduling segment was flat.

"I am delighted to be able to report that trading for the first half is in line with management expectations and ahead of the same period last year. ServicePower continues to focus on innovation and the development of our core products: optimised scheduling, mobile dispatch and third party contractor management. That focus, in addition to our growing strength in sales and execution, is to continue building on the momentum achieved in the first half of 2015," said Chief Executive Officer Marne Martin in a statement.

Shares in ServicePower Technologies were up 3.6% 5.05 pence Wednesday morning.
