LONDON (Alliance News) - Healthcare and automation technology company Servelec Group PLC Thursday said its healthcare division has been awarded preferred bidder status by two recently created Mental Health and Community Trusts in northern England.
Servelec said the North of England Trusts were not previously customers of its healthcare division, and therefore represent a significant growth opportunity for the group.
The firm said the two projects were won in open competition where Rio, Servelec Healthcare's product, wasn't the incumbent system.
Rio is an enterprise resource planning software solution for the recording and documenting the provision of healthcare services.
Servelec Healthcare, with its Rio product, has now won nine out of the last ten Trusts outside of the National Programme refresh who have selected a new system in open competition, the firm said.
Servelec Group shares were quoted up 0.4% at 256.12 pence Thursday.
