Servelec's Healthcare Division Wins Preferred Supplier Status From NHS Trusts

20th May 2014 14:50

LONDON (Alliance News) - Servelec Group PLC said Tuesday its Servelec Healthcare division has been awarded preferred supplier status for two NHS Trusts to announce their choice of software provider for Mental Health or Community Health services under the Camden framework.

Servelec Healthcare has now been chosen by seven out of eight of the NHS Trusts which have selected their preferred supplier using the Camden Framework, said the company.

The Camden Framework is the main mechanism by which Trusts currently running RiO - and Electronic Patient Record system - under the British Telecom Local Service Provider contract can exit from the National Programme in London and the South of England, providing each organisation with the ability to choose their supplier.

"We are delighted to be seeing Trusts selecting RiO V7 earlier than anticipated which underpins our confidence in both the capability of our products and our ability to continue to win further contracts under the Camden Framework and elsewhere," said Alan Stubbs, CEO of Servelec.

Shares in Servelec were trading 0.73% higher at 258.62 pence per share Tuesday afternoon.
