9th Jul 2015 07:45

LONDON (Alliance News) - Software, hardware and services provider Servelec Group PLC on Thursday said it has won a series of new contracts in its Technologies division, which is part of its Automation arm.

Servelec said it has secured a four-year framework deal with Belgian railway company InfraBel worth around EUR2.3 million, covering the provision of equipment to be used for monitoring signalling power and level crossings.

It also has won a deal with Irish Water to assess investment requirements across its network. Servelec will provide its PIONEER product for the work and will complete the contract before the end of this year.

In addition, Servelec has secured a pilot project with Wessex Water for a business optimisation platform designed to drive cost savings for the utility.

No financial details were disclosed on the Irish Water or Wessex Water deals.

Shares in Servelec were untraded on Thursday morning, having last traded at 301.00 pence.
