Servelec Secures Five New Health & Social Care Unit Contracts

LONDON (Alliance News) - Technology and software company Servelec Group PLC on Tuesday said it has won five new hospital project contracts for its Health & Social Care unit.

The firm has secured a deal with an unnamed hospital trust to implement its Oceano PAS system to three hospitals over the course of 2016 and 2017.

It has also been appointed to deliver its RiO EPR system for the Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust and has secured a contract with the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital Foundation Trust in Birmingham to provide electronic prescribing and decision support systems through its PICS platform.

In addition, Servelec has will provide the inpatient journey system for St Vincent's University Hospital Dublin, using its Flow/Note product, and will deliver its Mosaic system for Dundee City Council across its adult, children, criminal justice and finance departments.

No financial details were disclosed on the contract wins.

"This is a positive start to the year for Servelec Health & Social Care across the UK and Ireland. Building on the strong performance of the business in 2015 these projects demonstrate the breadth and strength of both our product portfolio and market position as a trusted supplier to the NHS and the Irish Health Service Executive," said Alan Stubbs, Servelec's chief executive.

Shares in Servelec were untraded on Tuesday morning, having last traded at 306.00 pence.
