(Alliance News) - Jersey-based oil & gas firm Serinus Energy PLC on Thursday said it has hired Andrew Fairclough as Chief Financial Officer, effective from February 5.
Fairclough is currently chief financial officer of oil & gas firm Whalsay Energy Ltd. He has held corporate finance, capital markets and management roles for nearly 30 years, Serinus said, adding that he has experience in corporate strategy, debt & equity structuring, capital management and financial reporting.
The company added that Chief Executive Jeffrey Auld, and the board look forward to Andrew's contributions going forward as the company looks to build on the success of the Moftinu gas project in Romania.
In November, Serinus Energy had said the Moftinu-1004 well produced 1,168 barrels of oil equivalent per day in the nine months to September, well above the 357 barrels delivered a year before on a daily basis.
Serinus shares were untraded at midday Thursday in London, last quoted at 8.75 pence each.
