LONDON (Alliance News) - Serica Energy PLC said on Friday action to remove gas hydrates in the Erskine to Lomond pipeline in the UK North Sea has been completed, with production from Erskine now restarted and flow rate optimised.
Erskine, in which Serica holds an 18% interest, was suspended in mid-January due to a blocked export pipeline which carried condensate from Erskine to the neighbouring Lomond platform. A new 26 kilometres long section of the line was completed in September.
Serica said it will provide further updates once the re-commissioning process is completed.
Shares in the oil and gas company were up 2.9% at 109.03 pence on Friday.
