(Alliance News) - Economic infrastructure debt investor Sequoia Economic Infrastructure Income Fund Ltd Friday said it has hired Anurag Gupta as chief risk officer at its investment adviser Sequoia Investment Management Company Ltd.
Anurag has over 20 years of global experience advising on, and executing investments in infrastructure, renewable energy, public-private-partnership and corporate finance transactions, the company noted.
He is joining the company from the Canadian arm of professional services network & accounting firm KPMG, where he was a partner and global sector head for power in the global infrastructure practice.
He has also held senior management roles at public sector infrastructure delivery agency Infrastructure Ontario, government-owned power generator Ontario Power Generation and retail electricity provider TXU Energy.
"I am delighted to welcome Anurag to Sequoia. His joining further strengthens our leadership team and enhances our risk management capabilities as we continue to focus on originating and executing high quality debt investments," said Sequoia Partner Dolf Kohnhorst.
The stock was trading 0.3% higher at 114.70 pence each on Friday afternoon in London.
