Seeing Machines Says Operator Division Gets New Driver State System Trial Order

25th Oct 2013 12:31

LONDON (Alliance News) - Technology company Seeing Machines Ltd Friday said its operator safety division has received purchase orders from iron ore firm Cliffs Natural Resources Inc to commence a trial of its Driver State System fatigue and distraction monitoring solution at their Western Australia-based operations.

The technology will be installed into six road trains for a 90 day fatigue assessment trial which, once completed, could see a larger scale rollout across the fleet.

The value of this deployment is over AUD150,000.

Cliffs has iron ore and coal mines in North America as well as the iron ore mining complex in Western Australia.
