LONDON (Alliance News) - Seeing Machines Limited said Monday that its operator-safety division had received orders from Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. to install its real-time alerts technology in trucks at the US mining giant's Tenke Fungurume Mine in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Tyrone Mine in the US state of New Mexico.
The value of the order is AUD800,000, Seeing Machines said.
Canberra, Australia-based Seeing Machines produces eye and face tracking technology, including technology to detect drivers alertness and safety.
Shares in Seeing Machines were trading up 0.05 pence at 5.93 pence Monday morning.
