LONDON (Alliance News) - Seeing Machines Ltd said on Wednesday it has extended an agreement with Australia-based distributor Connect Source, for a further 2,500 units of Guardian fleet product, which monitors driver's levels of fatigue and distraction.
The units will be sold and installed into the distributor's customers over the next 18 months, with all installations expected to be completed by December 2019.
Connect Source has been a distributor for Seeing Machines' Guardian product for more than a year and in that time has seen success with its customer base, particularly in western Australia.
"The commitment of Michael Wishart and his team is very welcome news to us at Seeing Machines. We have made a conscious decision to work more closely with channel partners who are able to leverage the knowledge and relationships with their customers to accelerate sales of Guardian as a safety solution for commercial fleets and transport companies. We are working very closely with Connect Source to provide them every support available to ensure their success in this region," said Senior Vice President Paul Angelatos.
Shares in the computer vision technology provider were up 5.2% at 6.89 pence on Wednesday.
