26th Nov 2018 11:52

LONDON (Alliance News) - Seeing Machines Ltd on Monday said its Aviation division signed a pioneering programme deal with Royal Australian Air Force.

Under the contract, the computer vision technology company said it will provide eye and face tracking sensor technologies for a new pilot training system.

In line with the Royal Australian Air Force plan, this agreement will enable Seeing Machines to demonstrate its core capability, with considerable potential for future deployment across a broad range of military platforms and systems.

"We are delighted to debut our Aviation eye and face tracking capability with the Royal Australian Air Force," said Seeing Machines Chief Executive Ken Kroeger.

"With Air Force's transition to an integrated force, utilising advanced technology and aircraft capabilities, we are well aligned to support and deliver world-class training and operational efficiencies with this pioneering programme," added Kroeger.

Seeing Machines shares were trading 2.2% higher on Monday at 4.65 pence each.
