(Alliance News) - Seeing Machines Ltd said on Wednesday it has appointed two independent non-executive directors John Murray and Gerhard Vorster, with effect on December 1.
The Canberra-based company said Murray, who is currently a chair of Australia-listed PainChek Ltd, has significant expertise in the technology sector. He will chair the Risk, Finance and Audit Committee, the company said.
Meanwhile Vorster, who is currently an alternate director of Brisbane Airport Corp and chair of the Bio Capital Impact Fund, is a former Deloitte partner with a "growing board portfolio and significant expertise in strategy and technology".
Kate Hill, chair of the company, said: With the combined skill set and commercial experience of the refreshed board and management team, the company is well positioned to leverage the considerable opportunities emerging in safety in all transport sectors."
Seeing Machines shares were 0.7% lower in London at 4.62 pence each on Wednesday.
