LONDON (Alliance News) - Securities Trust of Scotland PLC said Monday it appointed Sarah Harvey as non-executive director with effect from October.
Harvey was UK Managing Director of Square Inc, a US-listed fintech company, where she was responsible for overseeing the UK strategy, business development, marketing and sales, the company explained.
Additionally, Securities Trust said that its Investment Manager Martin Currie agreed to a refresh of its marketing strategy, including "a material increase in the company's marketing budget".
Securities Trust of Scotland shares were trading 0.1% lower at 175.58 pence each.
