LONDON (Alliance News) - Secure Income REIT PLC on Tuesday declared a maiden dividend of 2.9375 pence per share for its current financial year, after having announced its intention earlier this year to begin making quarterly cash distributions.
The long-term income REIT in March said it would be making quarterly distributions commencing in August 2016, initially reflecting a yield of 4.2% on December 31, 2015 EPRA net asset value, being an annualised 11.75p per share.
This came after the company completed GBP903.0 million of new long-term financing arrangements between August and October 2015, which it said would facilitate the payment of maiden dividends.
On Tuesday, Secure Income said it will pay its maiden interim dividend of 2.9375p per share on August 12.
Shares in Secure Income were up 0.6% at 269.50p on Tuesday.
