LONDON (Alliance News) - A second teenager from west London has been arrested in relation to alleged data theft from TalkTalk Telecom Group PLC, the Metropolitan Police said in a statement Friday.
The Met said that detectives from the Metropolitan Police Cyber Crime Unit had arrested a 16-year-old body on suspicion of Computer Misuse Act offices. The 16-year-old has now been bailed.
Officers completed a search of the residential address in Feltham, where the boy was arrested, and have also search a residential address in Liverpool.
This follows on from the arrest of a 15-year-old from County Antrim, Northern Ireland, on Monday in relation to the data breach.
Shares in TalkTalk were up 0.6% at 242.90 pence Friday morning.
