SeaEnergy Says BP Brings Forward R2C Deployment

23rd Feb 2015 07:54

LONDON (Alliance News) - SeaEnergy PLC on Monday said BP PLC has brought forward the deployment of the R2S Visual Asset Management spherical photographic capture of the Atlantis facility in the Gulf of Mexico.

The photographic team from SeaEnergy's R2S subsidiary is now on site and the project is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2015, SeaEnergy said.

The contract is worth USD450,000 to SeaEnergy and is part of an agreement in place between it and BP since 2013.

"R2S helps BP to bring the onshore and offshore teams of its assets together, allowing remote collaboration, increasing efficiencies and reducing the need to travel to the asset," said SeaEnergy Chief Executive Officer John Aldersey-Williams.

"The Atlantis project is very exciting for us as we continue to expand our presence in North America, driven by our team in Houston. As part of our wider internationalisation efforts and in line with our global agreement with BP, we look forward to supporting BP in its diverse geographic activities," Aldersey-Williams added.
