LONDON (Alliance News) - Language content software firm SDL PLC said on Monday it has been selected by the Canadian Translation Bureau to provide a linguistic services request management system.
The Translation Bureau is a federal institution within the Public Services & Procurement Canada department of the Government of Canada, which provides translation and terminology services to federal departments and organisations.
SDL will combine two of its products, SDL MultiTrans and SDL Trados Studio to provide a web-based platform for the Bureau to more efficiently manage its linguistic service workflows, projects and resources.
"We will be providing an enhanced solution tailored for the Translation Bureau, where project managers have complete control over their linguistic projects, within a secure, user-friendly environment capable of automating tasks, helping them manage projects more efficiently and to the highest security standards," said Christophe Djaouani, senior vice-president of Regulated Industries.
Shares in SDL were up 1.9% at 536.00 pence on Monday.
