LONDON (Alliance News) - SDL PLC said Monday it completed the acquisition of linguistic provider Donnelley Language Solutions.
"The completion of this transaction represents a significant milestone in the evolution of SDL, bringing together two complementary companies to establish a leading player in content and language solutions," Chief Executive Officer Adolfo Hernandez said.
Last Monday, SDL said it had acquired Donnelley Language Solutions for USD77.5 million in cash from Donnelley Financial Solutions Inc.
In 2017, Donnelley Language Solutions generated revenue of USD71.4 million and adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation of USD5.8 million.
SDL said it expects the acquisition to be "earnings enhancing" from the first full year of ownership to the end of December 2019.
Shares in SDL were up 0.4% on Monday at 514.00 pence each.
