LONDON (Alliance News) - Scisys PLC said Friday it has won a further two-year contract with French-Italian aerospace manufacturer Thales Alenia Space France, under a programme funded by the European Union and worth around EUR5.2 million.
The contract is for the system extension and software enhancement in the Galileo Ground Mission Segment.
"Our Space division has again proved its ability to secure follow-on work on key contracts, underlining SCISYS' strong commitment to the Galileo Ground Mission Segment. This contract provides us with a valuable boost to our order book and added confidence around expectations for the forthcoming financial year," said Chief Executive Officer Klaus Heidrich in a statement.
Shares in Scisys were up 2.8% at 74.00 pence Friday morning.
