LONDON (Alliance News) - IT and software systems developer Scisys PLC on Tuesday said it has secured a software and services contract with the UK Ministry of Defence.
The contract will cover services for defence supply chain operations and movements for four years and will be worth around GBP1.0 million per year to Scisys.
"Our Enterprise Solutions & Defence division has again proved its ability to win key contracts in tough competition," said Klaus Heidrich, Scisys' chief executive, adding: "It underpins our expectations for a solid second half year and also supports recovery and growth ambitions as we move into 2016."
Shares in Scisys were up 5.0% to 73.00 pence on the news.
