LONDON (Alliance News) - Scisys PLC said Tuesday that it has secured a second framework agreement worth GBP6 million over the next three- to four-years with the BBC.
Under the agreement, Scisys will roll out replacement or system upgrades for the BBC's audio edit and playout systems across its national, regional and local radio networks using its dira! product. The product was originally rolled out as part of a first large scale audio editing and playout system programme between 2009 and 2014.
"We are delighted to continue the relationship with the BBC, who we see as a strategic customer for our dira! product. It continues to be a very important and beneficial reference for our Media & Broadcast activities," said Chief Executive Officer Klaus Heidrich in a statement.
Shares in Scisys are trading up 1.8% at 84.00 pence Tuesday morning.
