Scientific Digital Imaging Upgrades Annual Guidance After Good Year

27th Jun 2019 14:01

(Alliance News) - Scientific Digital Imaging PLC on Thursday revised its financial 2019 guidance upwards following a "good" year.

The company now expects revenue for its year ended April 30 at GBP17.4 million, 20% higher than the GBP14.5 million reported in financial 2018.

Previously, the company guided for revenue to be "in excess" of GBP17 million, or up about 17%.

Scientific Digital Imaging expects adjusted pretax profit to be "no less than" GBP2.9 million compared to GBP2.3 million the year before, which represents a 26% increase.

Statutory pretax profit is expected to be "no less than" GBP2.0 million, at least 18% ahead of last year's GBP1.7 million.

"As previously stated, this has been a good year for SDI, growing the business and delivering on our acquisition strategy, whilst laying the foundation for further growth in the future," said Chair Ken Ford. "The very positive financial results underline the strength of our business model and reflect the hard work of all our staff over the past year".

The company will release its full year results on July 18. Shares in Scientific Digital Imaging were up 3.3% Thursday in London at 55.35 pence each.
