LONDON (Alliance News) - Science in Sport PLC on Friday said it has poached Elizabeth Lake from luxury fashion house Hugo Boss AG's UK & Ireland team as its new finance director, to join the sports nutrition company on July 18.
Science in Sport said Lake has worked as finance director for Hugo Boss UK & Ireland for the last four years where she was responsible for the finance, accounting and business intelligence functions and also oversaw new store growth through the selection and acquisition of new sites.
This comes at a time when Science in Sport said it is in a "period of rapid expansion, both domestically and internationally, and Elizabeth's skills will be an undoubted asset as we seek to extend further our market leadership in endurance sports nutrition," the company said.
Lake has also held positions at retailer Marks & Spencer Group PLC, education company Pearson PLC and media and information group Thomson Reuters Corp.
Science in Sport shares were untraded early Friday, having last traded at 53.15 pence.
